What are the results of the comparative risk projects that governments use to help set priorities? With over forty comparative risk projects underway or completed, it is time to assess the impact of these projects. Some projects have resulted in new legislation, new planning processes, EPA grant flexibility, and broad based risk education. Future comparative risk projects may be tied more closely to the new performance partnership agreements between states and EPA. How would governments use the technical information that is the cornerstone of comparative risk projects?
