Activities of the Arsenic Task Force. W. Chappell, University of Colorado, Denver
The Society for Environmental Geochemistry and Health Task Force on Arsenic is preparing a summary report on health risks from arsenic in the environment. This report summarizes information from two international symposia held in New Orleans in 1993 and San Diego in June, 1995 plus numerous other meetings and publications on arsenic exposure, toxicology, and epidemiology. The Task Force has made numerous recommendations regarding evaluation of the existing information and on needed research. The draft Task Force report will be presented by the chair and other members of the Task Force for discussion with other interested parties at the 1995 SRA Annual Meeting.
