There are 73 administrative rayons in 12 oblasts of Ukraine in radiation contaminated territories by Chernobyl catastrophe according to the national legislation. In these territories there are 2293 settlements. Their inhabitants (2,346,462 persons) away to an affected of catastrophe. The contaminated territories behind a level of radioactive contamination are divided into 4 zones. 1 zone - 30 kilometer zone, 2 zone - zone of permanent relocation, 3 zone - zone of temporary relocation, 4 zone - zone of enforced radioecological control. Besides affected are 3,358,634 persons took part in liquidation of accident and its consequences and more than 150 thousands persons were evacuated and are moved in clean districts, which live outside the contaminated territories. Behind health of all affected the constant supervision will be carried medical spent, which results act in the State register of affected of Ukraine (SRU).

Within the framework of the state programs on study of medical consequences of Chernobyl catastrophe we in 1996 create the Automatized data-bases management system of monitoring of medico-demographic consequences of Chernobyl catastrophe - ÚS DEMOMONITOR. It is the purpose automation of administrative and research work of the experts of various structures directed on supervision over a condition and dynamics of medico-demographic situation on radioactive contamination territories (RCT), and revealing their basic laws depending on action of the factors of an environment, first of all ionizing of radiation. It provides the tax, accumulation, storage medico-demographic of the data, realization of their accounts with application to the mathematical and statistical analysis and distribution of the target information in a tabulated and graphic kind. The target data are formed as the reports on any and standard forms of inquiries. Received to the radiation contaminated territories of data are compared before and after catastrophe, to control territories and data on Ukraine as a whole. A beginning of supervision since 1979.

Monitoring has 2 units. First is directed on research of medico-demographic processes on RCT, in it the data of state statistics are used. Second is based on the target data from SRU and is directed on the analysis of demographic statistics mortality of affected.

The software of management of data-bases in Windows-95 - Access-2 (Access-7). Operational system Windows-95, format of a data-base - .mdb. Total volume of the information, entered by the beginning of 1998, makes 11.5 Mbytes, amount of records - 1500, annual input of records - up to 1000. Language - Ukrainian, English. The system can be given to other users, protocol of transfer - on WWW through the owner AS.

The data of monitoring are widely used at valuation of medical consequences of catastrophe and preparation of the statistical books.
