The epidemiological study was conducted for a cohort of 34000 persons born in 1972-1986 living on territories contaminated in consequence of the Chernobyl accident. The total radiation dose of 87.8% of children absorbed for 10-year period was 2 cSv. 80.4% of the cohort members received thyroid irradiation doses about 100 cGy. It was revealed that the morbidity formed as a result of influence of low radiation doses, disturbance of routine and diet. Counter-measures was purposed on reduction in residents radiation dose and made dependent some of the enumerated factors.
