The Environmental Communication Yearbook is a multidisciplinary forum through which a broad audience of academics, professionals, and practitioners can share and build theoretical, critical, and applied scholarship addressing environmental communication in a variety of contexts. This peer reviewed annual publication invites submissions that showcase and/or advance our understanding of the production, reception, contexts, or processes of human communication regarding environmental issues. Theoretical expositions, literature reviews, case studies, cultural and mass media studies, best practices, and essays on emerging issues are welcome, as are both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. For complete submission guidelines, see http://www.erlbaum.com/ecy.htm.

Environmental Forensics, published by Elseview B.V., is a new electronic journal that provides a forum for scientific investigations that address contamination within the environmental media of air, water, soil and biota, and is subject to court of law, arbitration, public debate, or formal argumentation. The journal is an international, quarterly, peer-reviewed publication offering scientific studies that explore source, fate, transport, and human health and ecological effects of environmental contamination, with contamination being delineated in terms of chemical characterization, biological influence, responsible parties, and legal consequences.

Health Risk & Society, an international, scholarly journal, is devoted to a theoretical and empirical understanding of the social processes that influence the ways in which risks are taken, communicated, assessed, and managed in relationship to health and health care. Published quarterly by Taylor & Francis Group Ltd., the journal welcomes contributions from a variety of social sciences disciplines that examine the issues of risk within health and health care, including economics, sociology, psychology, and management, and particularly encourages the submission of articles that explore the ways in which risk was handled at a variety of levels (that is, in the community, within various organizations, and at national and supranational levels). Articles should be accessible to a variety of audiences, including practitioners and policy-makers. Read instructions for authors.

Integrated Environmental Assessment and Management (IEAM), the second peer-reviewed journal of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC), is devoted to bridging the gap between scientific research and the use of science in decision-making, regulation, and environmental management. The journal welcomes contributions from the fields of ecological risk assessment, environmental impact analysis, environmental law and policy, environmental management, human health assessment, life-cycle assessment, and sustainable development. IEAM is looking for original research, case studies, legal and policy analyses, sustainability-related research, commentaries, debates, editorials, and reviews that discuss the ecological, environmental, and public health issues pertaining to environmental assessment and management issues. For manuscript submissions, please contact Richard Wenning, Ieam_editor@environcorp.com, or the SETAC office, setac@setac.org.
