Questions

5 April 2002

I am an environmental toxicologist working for an electric power company. I am interested in making contact with risk assessors who have compared the relative human health risk and benefit/cost analysis of industrial uses of ammonia in its various forms. Specifically we are wanting to compare aqueous vs. anhydrous vs. the use of ammonia-on-demand systems for NOx control with SCRs. I would be interested in work which combined hazard and operability studies, fault (or event) tree analysis, modeling of most probable accident scenario and normal operational risk associated with both plant operations and transportation.

I'm working now in the field of engineering management, especially in the branch of planning and scheduling, but I hope to increase my knowledge about risk analysis in the engineering field. Unfortunately I can't find a specified site that provides the information I need. Can anyone suggest web sites that provide this information?

Thank you very much. Your feedback will be greatly appreciated.
