Release of Volume 1, Framework For Environmental Health Risk Management--January 29,1997--Commission on Risk Assessment and Risk Management

Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act, Public Law 92-463,

notice is hereby given that the Commission on Risk Assessment and Risk Management, established as an Advisory Committee under Section 303 of the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990, will release Volume 1, Framework for Environmental Health Risk Management, of its two-volume final report on January 29. It is anticipated that Volume 2 will be released at the end of February. A public meeting will be held on January 29, 1997, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Room 2322 at the Rayburn House Office Building located on Independence Avenue and South Capitol Street, SW, Washington, DC. Federal Register, Vol. 61, No. 251, page 68745, dated December 30, 1996 issued a notice of the January 29th meeting; however, the location was not yet determined.

If you are unable to attend, but wish to receive a copy of the final report, either fax your request to 202-233-9540, mail your request to the Commission on Risk Assessment and Risk Management, 529 14th Street, NW, Room 452, Washington, DC 20045, or obtain via the internet at http;//www.riskworld.com. Be sure to indicate your complete mailing address and a phone number where you can be reached. If you have already requested a copy of the draft report, it is not necessary to send another request. Everyone who requested a draft report will be sent Volume 1 immediately following the public meeting and Volume 2 when it becomes available.
