| The Risk Science & Law Specialty
Group of the Society for Risk Analysis publishes the Risk Science and Law
Online Casebook, a compilation of risk-based case law analysis and legal commentary.
Key cases involving risk analysis are synopsized and organized with the
goal of making them more accessible and
useful to legal and scientific risk practitioners. Both current
"hot" cases and key historical cases are covered. In
general, the online casebook selections deal with either judicial
review of regulatory health risk assessments or civil litigation of toxic risk or injury
claims, and it balances the issues of law and science so risk science practitioners
as well as environmental and toxic tort lawyers will find ideas germane to their
professional interests. Click on the titles below to read selected
