Web-Based Training Reduces Costs, Expedites Delivery, and Improves Retention

INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Marsh, the world's leading risk and insurance services firm, today announced the launch of Trainamation, its unit of Web-based safety courses to provide global training for organizations and government entities.

Trainamation utilizes Marsh and its sister companies to provide expert subject matter content in disciplines covering 15 titles including risk and safety, human resources and management consulting. All courses use graphics, animation, and interactive testing to provide a more engaging and productive learning experience.

"This new Marsh venture addresses the needs of businesses and government entities worldwide for a more comprehensive and effective safety and risk management training method as well as faster training delivery," said Edward M. Holinski, Marsh senior vice president and Trainamation CEO.

Trainamation's Learning Management System (LMS) uses Internet and intranet technology to deliver training directly to employees' desktops. It provides easier tracking and administration; more precise measurement and verification of outcomes through integrated testing; and more timely updates of safety regulations, resulting in decreased loss in the work environment.
