FDIC Outlook (formerly Regional Outlook)

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) gathers and publishes data about individual financial institutions and the banking industry in searchable databases, periodic reports, compilations of statistics, and analyses that document the condition of individual institutions and identify and project financial, economic, and industry trends as they relate to banking. The publication FDIC Outlook, formerly titled Regional Outlook, provides a quarterly overview of economic and banking risks and discusses how these risks relate to insured institutions nationally and in each of FDIC's six regions: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Kansas City, New York, and San Francisco. BELLE Newsletter

In 1990 a group of scientists met to develop a strategy to encourage the assessment of the biological effects of low-level exposures (BELLE) to chemical agents and radioactivity. Today, the BELLE Advisory Committee is committed to the enhanced understanding of low-dose responses of all types, whether of an expected nature or of a so-called paradoxical nature. Health Risk Communicator

The Subcommittee on Risk Communication and Education of the U.S. Public Health Service's Environmental Health Policy Committee publishes the newsletter Health Risk Communicator three times each year. The newsletter focuses on health risk communication principles, practices, and standards for practitioners and researchers in that field. Its goals are to provide a forum for the exchange of news and ideas about contemporary health risk communication and education issues and to dispense practical information on emergency trends, issues, and needs related to health risk communication principles and practices. Philrisknews - Philosophy of Risk Newsletter
The electronic publication Philosophy of Risk Newsletter was launched in May 2000 to promote communication and information among professional philosophers, risk professionals with an interest in philosophical issues, and all who are interested in philosophical issues related to risk, uncertainty, and safety. The newsletter is published three to four times a year, depending on the number of its readers' contributions, which include information about new publications, abstracts and brief reviews, news about conferences, queries, discussion notes, etc. The Philrisknews website provides subscription and submission information, access to recent and past newsletter issues, and links to bibliographies, papers online, journals, research, and relevant websites. Started in 1974, this monthly commentary on strategic risk management has addressed all aspects of risk - operational, legal liability, political/regulatory, and financial /market - from a global perspective, based on Editor/Writer Felix Kloman's some 30 years experience as a risk management consultant, lecturer, and author.
